Daily NBA Player Props – February 9th
Guerschon Yabusele – Over 9.5 Points (-101)
After trades and injuries decimated this Chicago squad, we can look at the rubble and make out Yabusele in the starting rotation. He drew the start last game and managed to bang four three-pointers. He’s gone for 12 and 15 in his two games with the Bulls, which makes it a bit of a head scratcher that they have him projected for 9.5. That’s especially true given that they’re playing Brooklyn, who is giving up 118.7 per game over their last three.
Jalen Johnson – Over 44.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (+104)
Jalen Johnson came up short of his fourth straight triple-double last game by one rebound and two assists. However, he still managed to put away 48 PRA on the night to beat this projection for the fourth straight game. He looks to keep the streak alive as he faces a Timberwolves squad giving up 120.0 points per game in their last three.
Domantas Sabonis – Over 26.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-123)
Look, I know he’s been missing a lot of this season with back issues, but this is a great spot for him. The Pelicans are 23rd in the league in terms of rebounding percentage and 28th in the league in points allowed. While Sabonis might not be 100%, when he is getting on the court, he’s blowing this number out of the water. He’s hit the over in four of his last five. Plus, he didn’t need any rebounds in two of those to get there.
