Daily NBA Player Props – February 8th
Nikola Vucevic – Over 24.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-111)
Vucevic came off the bench for the Celtics in their first game since acquiring him. All he did from there was rip off a 12-rebound double-double and easily clear just about every projection on him. While they have stepped up his numbers a bit for his sophomore effort, he’s likely to step them up too. As he gets more and more comfortable with the squad, I expect more minutes out of him. However, even if he were to give a similar performance to last time, he should cover this with ease.
Andrew Nembhard – Over 29.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (+111)
Nembhard’s points fluctuate pretty aggressively, but as of late, they have been solid. He’s put up at least 18 in three of his last four games, which leaves him just needing 12 rebounds and assists to hit his target here. He averaged 9.2 assists last month, which should make this an easy one to hit.
Anthony Edwards – Over 28.5 Points (-104)
Edwards projection comes in comically low here. He’s cleared 30 points in all three games this month and is averaging 34.7 per game in that span. He’ll get the Clippers here, who had been good on defense up until this month. In their last three games, they’re allowing 121.0 points per game. That should help Edwards keep his streak in tact.
