Daily NBA Player Props – February 7th
Bub Carrington – Over 11.5 Points (-109)
Although Carrington only put up seven points during his last meeting with the Nets, that was before he stepped up his game. He’s been on a run recently for the Wizards as they’ve been more competitive lately. During the most recent ten games, he’s 8-2 against this projection. In addition to that positive trend, Brooklyn has allowed 124.3 points per game over the last three, which should open up scoring opportunities for Carrington.
Anfernee Simons – Over 3.5 Three-Pointers (+102)
Simons is one of our faces in a new space, and it likely suits his overs early on. The Bulls tore everything down to the studs – trading away tons of talent. Additionally, they have the likes of Zach Collins and Josh Giddey on the sideline. As a result, they’ll need to turn to someone for some offense. In his first game in Chicago, Simons bagged six three-pointers. He’s 5-1 against this line in the last month when he attempts at least 10. The Bulls will, for sure, need the volume from him here.
Jalen Johnson – Over 42.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-115)
Johnson has been filling out the stat sheet recently in a big way. He has triple doubles in the last three games, and hasn’t come in less than 50 PRA in any of those. Charlotte has been hot lately, but that just encourages me here. Johnson will likely have to spend more time on the court to keep up in a close game. The end result should be another big day.
