UFC Fight Night: Bautista vs Oliveira (aka UFC Vegas 113)
Start Time: 5:00 PM EST
The UFC Apex is now the Meta APEX as of this event, and if the new branding is any indication (it isn’t), we should be getting higher-quality fight cards going forward. This UFC Fight Night, for Apex standards, is very good.
My best bet comes from the third fight from the top, a heavyweight battle between Brazilian Jailton Almeida and Russian Rizvan Kuniev. Perhaps it’s because Almeida is taking this fight on short notice that we’re getting a very nice moneyline on him.
Kuniev isn’t on the Brazilian’s level in terms of skill or experience. Jailton will take him down and control him, and hopefully put his foot on the gas and get a finish, rather than play it safe as he has done in the past to widespread criticism.
