UConn Huskies vs St. John’s Red Storm
Start Time: 8:00 PM EST
The top two teams in the Big East – both in terms of win-loss records and advanced stat rankings – hook up tomorrow night in MSG, as the #22-ranked St. John’s Red Storm host the #3-ranked UConn Huskies. This is the first meeting between these two teams this season, so it’s fitting that it’s going down in a venerable venue.
It’s also fitting that both teams are on rolls, with the Red Storm winning eight straight and 10 of 11. The Huskies, however, say hold my beer, as they haven’t lost in their last 18 games.
Yet, I’m going with the home side in this matchup. Or, to be more precise, I’m going with St. John’s to cover the spread at home. After crunching the advanced numbers and folding in the home court advantage, my line is St. John’s -1, so I’ll take the Red Storm as a home dog.
