For tomorrow’s winning parlay, I’m going with hot scorers facing teams with leaky defenses/goalies. One such team that fits that description would be the Chicago Blackhawks (12th most goals allowed); one such hot scorer would be the Columbus Blue Jackets’ Charlie Coyle.
Now, Coyle didn’t come through for me yesterday, but I’ll give him another chance on Wednesday. He’s hot, scoring eight times over his past 10 games.
San Jose Sharks vs Colorado Avalanche
Start Time: 9:00 PM EST
The San Jose Sharks love giving up goals to the opposition even more than the Blackhawks, ranking 27th in the league in goals against. So it makes sense to make a play on a Colorado Avalanche player to score tomorrow.
And, why not make that player Nathan MacKinnon, who leads the league with 40 goals scored this season? He also has two goals in two games against the Sharks this year.
