Daily NBA Player Props – February 2nd
Brandon Miller – Over 24.5 Points (+109)
Brandon Miller was tearing apart the overs for weeks on end as books kept him listed at 20.5 points. They’ve finally adjusted, but I don’t think they’ve adjusted enough. He’s had at least 25 points in three of his last four games – which is already a good sign for a line like this. In addition to that, he gets a chance to face an awful defense here in New Orleans. They rank 28th in points allowed per game at 120.9.
Jay Huff – Over 4.5 Rebounds (+136)
Jay Huff is beginning to get more burn for the Pacers, and I’m loving the results. He had six and seven rebounds respectively in each of his last two games. However, because the Rockets are in town, he’s still only projected for 4.5. Although the Rockets rebound well, we’re not even asking him to match what he’s already been doing. Additionally, he’s snagged at least five boards in each of the last four games where he has played 20 or more minutes. I see no reason for Indiana to limit him in a game where they’ll need help on the boards.
Donte DiVincenzo – Over 2.5 Three-Pointers (-178)
DiVincenzo is getting the second end of a back-to-back with the Grizzlies. He bagged three shots from downtown in game one to bump himself up to 10-2 against this line in his last 12 games. The Grizzlies are one of the worst teams in the league at preventing the three-ball. They rank 27th in the league with 14.3 makes per game allowed. The Timberwolves had 18 last time out, and it’d be surprising if DiVincenzo couldn’t find three more this time.
