NEW ORLEANS PELICANS VS CHARLOTTE HORNETS
Start Time – 3:00 PM EST
Two newsflashes before we get to my pick for this game. Newflash #1 – this game is started at 3:00 PM on Monday due to weather conditions, so don’t get your bet in late. Newsflash #2 – the Charlotte Hornets are actually a good NBA basketball team now.
I know, I know – that second newsflash is a hard one to believe, but it’s true. Oh – and the New Orleans Pelicans still suck at basketball. Some things never change. My line is Charlotte -10, so the Hornets are the play.
Best Bet: Charlotte -6.5 (-109)
MINNESOTA TIMBERWOLVES VS MEMPHIS GRIZZLIES
Start Time – 7:30 PM EST
The Memphis Grizzlies have been showing up frequently in my best bets lately, and here they are again as they host the Minnesota Timberwolves tomorrow night. However, this play is a little iffy for the reason every NBA bet is – injured players.
Questionable to play tomorrow are Jaren Jackson Jr, Anthony Edwards, and Julius Randle (Ja Morant is out for sure, but who cares). As of the info I have at this writing, my line is Minnesota -4, so I’ll take a stab at the Grizzlies as a home dog.
Best Bet: Memphis +7.5 (-102)
