Daily NBA Player Props – December 21st
Bobby Portis – Over 1.5 Three-Pointers (-168)
This might be a chalky way to kick off our props on Tuesday, but it seems like a sure thing. Portis is 7-1 to the over in the month of December and will be trying to keep the Milwaukee offense in it without Giannis Antetokounmpo in the lineup. Being that he’s making at a 46.7% rate this month, I think the Bucks are going to feed him a few more attempts here and he should be able to score early.
Matas Buzelis – Over 14.5 Points (+109)
So the Bulls are suddenly back to being good again. After starting the year on fire, they were terrible for a month or so, and have now won three straight against solid teams. Some of that is due to giving extra minutes to Buzelis, who is killing it lately. He’s gone off for 52 points in his last two games, and has taken eight threes in each of those games. When playing at least 25 minutes in a game, he’s 5-1 against this prop in December. No reason to slow him down after what he did on Sunday.
Dillon Brooks – Over 2.5 Three-Pointers (-117)
Toto sang the words “It’s gonna take a lot to get me away from you” – and I’m assuming that was about Dillon Brooks’ three-pointer props. He fires off every single game and has hit this mark in three straight. That includes a game against these very same Lakers – in which he drilled 4-of-7 and hit the over in the first half. Let’s run it back for Tuesday night.
