I told you yesterday that the Boston Celtics were low-key better than expected and better than their current win-loss record indicated. And they came through for me and made me look smart. Can they do it two nights in a row?
Let’s roll the dice and say that they can. The Celtics and the Houston Rockets are fairly close in terms of advanced stats, plus Boston gets the home court advantage bump here. My line is Boston -2.5, so I’ll take the Celtics as a home court dog.

Dallas Mavericks vs Detroit Pistons
Start Time – 10:00 PM EST
We head to Mexico City for this matchup between the Dallas Mavericks and the Detroit Pistons, and I liked the Pistons on the spread in this spot even before I looked at the Mavericks’ injury report for the game.
Big men Anthony Davis and Dereck Lively are out of action for sure, with D’Angelo Russell and Daniel Gafford questionable for the game. My line was Detroit -10.5, and that was based on a healthy Dallas squad.
