We’re getting closer and closer to the conclusion of the season. Perhaps only two games left and we’re trying to get some of that last second action in on the first inning. For Game 4 of the World Series, we’ll look to make another NRFI bets for October 28.

MLB NRFI and YRFI Picks – October 28
Toronto Blue Jays vs. Los Angeles Dodgers
First Pitch – 8:00 pm EST
Dodger Stadium – Los Angeles, CA
Broadcast – Fox
While we didn’t cash on the YRFI on Monday, we’re going to let it ride with another on Tuesday. The offense of these two teams are just too potent not to put up some first inning runs. Through four innings in Game 3, they had combined to tally six total runs – yet none in the first. Players are cracking dingers, infielders are making errors, it just begs for us to get some runs early.
Some may be scared away from this YRFI spot due to the pitching matchup, but I think we’re weighing the last game too heavily. Shohei was lights out in the clincher against the Brewers, but had struggled the game prior. He allowed three runs in the first two innings to the Phillies in his only other start this month. Additionally, Shane Bieber has been pretty homer prone as of late. In his last five starts, he’s been hit for six homers and multiple runs in each of those starts. As a result, I think we’re in for some early action in this one.
