BOSTON RED SOX VS BALTIMORE ORIOLES
Start Time: 6:35 PM EST
Despite the Boston Red Sox and the Baltimore Orioles being divisional rivals, you can’t really call this a rivalry because the Orioles are underachieving again this season, as per usual. That includes at home, where they are only 31-33, and that includes against the Red Sox, who they’ve only beaten once in three tries this season.
I wouldn’t bet on them adding to those win totals tomorrow (actually, I’m NOT betting on it happening). Especially considering the Orioles will be sending Kyle Bradish to the hill for the first time in 14 months – you don’t know what you’ll get from a pitcher after that amount of time off. And the Sox counter with the pretty solid Lucas Giolito.
Additionally, the advanced stats support my assessment, with the Red Sox rated as about a run better than the Orioles on Tuesday night.
