NEW YORK YANKEES VS MIAMI MARLINS
Start Time: Saturday – 1:40 PM EST
It’s the American League East vs the National League East tomorrow as the New York Yankees finish up their three-game series in Miami, facing the Marlins. And the Marlins haven’t been very kind hosts, beating the Yankees in the first two games of this series.
This is a case of two teams going in opposite directions, as Florida has won 20 of their last 30 games, while New York has only won 14 in the same span. It hasn’t helped that pretty much every starting pitcher on the roster, plus Aaron Judge, is on the injured list for the Yankees.
However, there is good news on the horizon, as early as tomorrow, as last year’s Rookie of the Year winner, Luis Gil, will return to the mound for the first time for the Yankees. That will give the team a much-needed boost. And I think the Yankees avoid the sweep and escape Miami with a win tomorrow afternoon.
