As I mentioned in my best bet article, New York Yankees lefty Carlos Rodon is having another outstanding season in the pinstripes, as he’s near the top of the majors in all the important pitcher stats. And I expect Rodon and the Yankees to take it to the home team, the Toronto Blue Jays, tomorrow, on the eve of Canada Day (it’s a holiday up here – look it up). But that doesn’t mean I can’t fade Rodon for my prop play tomorrow.
And fade him I will. It’s Rodon’s strikeout total that I’m zeroing in on for my winning play tomorrow night. It’s set at 5.5, and we’re going with the under. Rodon has had fewer than six strikeouts in three of his last four starts, and the Blue Jays strike out the least in the majors this season.
