With the big Independence Day (July 4th) extravaganza going down this Friday, the UFC is taking the weekend off. But that doesn’t mean that there is no high-level MMA action to watch and bet on. For my MMA Main Card Pick of the Week: PFL MENA, we’re off to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (no thanks) and making a bet on the main event. Let’s go!

PFL MENA 2: RIYADH 2025
Main Card Start Time: Friday – Noon EST – (PFL App)
The de facto #2 MMA promotion in the world, PFL, loves its tournaments. They also love having spinoff ‘promotions’. PFL Europe. PFL MENA (Middle East and North Africa). So this week, they have MENA and Europe events, with tournaments on both fight cards. Very PFL!
However, the fight I’m zeroing in on for my pick this week is not a tournament fight. The main event of PFL MENA 2 sees last year’s tournament champ, Egypt’s Omar El Dafrawy, in a feature fight against Italian Daniele Miceli. The Egyptian is bigger, younger (by eight years), and a much better and more dangerous striker in this matchup. Easy pick.
