Underdog Fantasy – DFS Picks for June 29th
Alejandro Kirk – Higher than 1.5 Total Bases
Alejandro Kirk has been on fire lately. In his last four games, he’s put up seven total bases and hasn’t had a game in that span without a hit. Now he’ll have the added benefit of facing Lucas Giolito, who he has been excellent against. In 14 career at bats, Kirk has five hits against Giolito (.357 batting average). However, what’s more impressive is that four of those five hits were home runs. We should be able to get at least a double on Sunday.
Chad Patrick – Higher than 5.5 Strikeouts
We played a Brewers pitcher’s strikeouts up against the Rockies on Saturday and it worked out great. Quinn Priester was projected for 4.5 strikeouts and casually put up 11. Chad Patrick has been hot with his number anyways. He’s struck out 22 over his last three starts (or 7.33 per game). Now he’ll get a chance to blow that up further against Colorado.
Nicolai Hojgaard – Lower than 69.5 Round Strokes
Hojgaard has a really high projection for Sunday at the Rocket Mortgage Classic. He has yet to post a score above this all week. He put up a 69, a 65 and a 67 so far. He’s already put up 20 birdies on the weekend and only boogied once on Saturday. I’m not sure what about those performances makes anyone think he’s going to fall off here.
