Tampa Bay Rays vs Baltimore Orioles
Start Time: 7:05 PM EST
My best bet for tomorrow is coming from the very same Tampa Bay Rays and Baltimore Orioles game. And if my best bet comes through, there’s a good chance my prop bet will as well. And vice versa.
And since I’m taking the Rays to win tomorrow, my prop bet should be on a Rays player, as well. That player would be starting pitcher Ryan Pepiot, who is having an outstanding second season for Tampa Bay, with a 3.04 ERA and a 1.10 WHIP.
But it’s his strikeouts that I’m most interested in tomorrow. While Pepiot only has 91 Ks on the season, which works out to 5.7 per start, he’s been mowing down hitters in June. In four starts, Pepiot has struck out 35 batters, including, most importantly, 11 versus these very same Orioles.
While the line hasn’t been released yet, once it does, I’m taking the over on Ryan Pepiot’s strikeouts as my prop bet for Friday.
