The series is all knotted up at two a piece. After falling behind early in the game, the Thunder flipped the comeback script and came out on top to get things even. We now shift back to Oklahoma City for NBA Finals Game 5. We’ve dug through all the trends on the series so far and have our favorite prop bets for Game 5. Who’s hot? Who’s due? Two Prop Bets for NBA Finals Game 5
Indiana Pacers vs. Oklahoma City Thunder
Tipoff – June 15th, 8:30 pm EST
Paycom Center – Oklahoma City, OK
Broadcast – ABC
The Pacers bench is been where the value has been in this postseason. Rick Carlisle’s choice to run the bench deep, even in this stage of the playoffs, has been paying off for those betting on the bench players. Of my favorites to target in this series is Obi Toppin.
You have to love the burn that Toppin has had in these last couple of games. He’s posted 29 and 28 minutes respectively over the last two games. Even with a slow start to the series, he’s averaged 25.3 minutes per game in this series. That should be enough for him to get on the board for his point total.

With a listed line at 10.5, Toppin has cleared the number in half of the games in this series. He’s also hit the over in four of his last six. With the minutes on an upward trend I think he does it again here.
Prop Bet #1: Obi Toppin Over 10.5 Points (+100)
If it’s not broke, don’t fix it.
The defensive stats of Chet Holmgren has been way down in this series. In the regular season, this number might seem like child’s play. After all, he was averaging 2.2 blocks and that’s before we even get to the steals. However, the tune has changed in this series.
Over the course of this series, he’s posted just three total blocks. The Pacers don’t seem interested in challenging him in the paint at all. He’s also only snagged two steals so far. With his average on this metric being 1.25 per game in the finals, it’s hard to imagine that number doubling in Game 5.
Prop Bet #2: Chet Holmgren Under 2.5 Blocks + Steals (-135)
