We’re down to do-or-die time in the NHL’s Conference Championships, with the Carolina Hurricanes looking to survive for another game as these words are being written (they’re up 2-0, so that’s a good start), and another team on the brink of the golf course tomorrow night. Edmonton Oilers vs Dallas Stars
Start Time: 8:00 PM EST
The Dallas Stars are on the verge of losing their third straight Western Conference Finals, and second straight to the Edmonton Oilers, if they can’t peel off three straight wins in this series. Edmonton just won three straight themselves after getting blown out in Game 1.
While I expect the Oilers to win the series, I think the Stars can stay alive for at least another game by winning tomorrow at home. They are a very strong home team, both in the regular season and in the playoffs, and have lost once at home to Edmonton already in this series. I don’t see it happening again.
And I’m going back to my shots on goal prop play to finish off this parlay. Edmonton star Connor McDavid has 56 shots in 15 playoff games this season, and is basically good for three a game at least.
