Dallas Stars vs Edmonton Oilers

We get some afternoon playoff hockey tomorrow, as the Western Conference Finals between the Dallas Stars and the Edmonton Oilers shifts to the Oilers’ home turf for the first time this series. Edmonton got what all road teams strive for to start a series – a split on the road – by shutting out Dallas 3-0 in Game 2.
I bagged on Edmonton’s goalie, Stuart Skinner, in my preview article for Game 2, so naturally, he pitched a shutout in that game. That’s three shutouts in his past four games – maybe I ought to have more faith in the kid.
Whether any pucks find their way behind Skinner tomorrow, I still like the Oilers to win. They are a sparkling 4-1 at home during this playoff run, while the Stars are struggling away from the Big D, only winning two out of six games. Edmonton on the moneyline is my best bet for Sunday.
