NASCAR Picks: AdventHealth 400 at Kansas Speedway Odds and Best Bets

The Sunflower State is next up on NASCAR’s Cup Series schedule in the final race before the All-Star break. It’s back-to-back 1.5-mile tracks on the schedule for the series after competing at Texas Motor Speedway last week. So, let’s dive in and take a look at this week’s NASCAR picks, odds, and best bets for the AdventHealth 400 at Kansas Speedway.

Kansas Speedway holds a spot in the Round of 12 later this season in the playoffs, and could play a key role in a championship run. It’s also the first track we’ve visited in 2025 as the 12th race of the season, where we have a direct comparison track to look back at. Las Vegas Motor Speedway and Kansas Speedway could be sisters; they are so closely related and alike.

Last spring produced yet another instant classic from Kansas Speedway with the closest finish in NASCAR history. Kyle Larson beat Chris Buescher by .001 seconds. When the series came back in the fall of 2024, Ross Chastain left watermelon smashed all over the front stretch after claiming victory.

I’ll be attending this race live in person and bringing extra content from the track and garage area! Give me a follow on X, YouTube, and Facebook to follow along!

Alex Bowman Top 10 (+130)

This is easily my favorite bet on the board. Going into Texas last week, Bowman had finished in the top 10 in seven straight 1.5-mile track races. He was caught up and didn’t finish the race at Texas, so that streak ended, but seven of the last eight still sounds pretty nice. He’s also pretty good at Kansas in general. In five NextGen starts there (he missed the 2023 spring race due to injury), he’s 5/5 finishing inside of the top 10.

Even dating back to before the NextGen car, Bowman has always loved this track. In his 14 career starts with Hendrick Motorsports here, he has 10 top 10 finishes and 12 top 12s to his name. Furthermore, the worst he’s finished here in a Hendrick car is 18th place. Bowman also made this week’s car lift bet. Check out the NASCAR Gambling Podcast for all the bets we placed on him.

Chris Buescher Top 10 (+130)

I could force a head-to-head matchup or different bet into this article this week, but I’m here to give my best bets and help you win money. And I absolutely love the top 10 market this week. Chris Buescher returns to the spot of the heartbreaking loss last spring at Kansas, a week after having one of the fastest cars in the field before a blown tire sunk his day.

He led 54 laps in that spring race last year, and followed it up with an 11th-place finish in the fall. He scored sixth-place finishes at the intermediate tracks of Darlington and Homestead already this season. And wasn’t far off with a 13th-place run at Las Vegas.

Austin Dillon Top 10 (+600)

Dillon is a driver who goes under the radar every week, and that keeps his odds good for us. Austin is currently riding a three-race streak of top 10 finishes. Three completely different track types, and he stays consistent. He’s had ups and downs at Kansas Speedway, but plenty of ups for us to bet on him. Four of his six NextGen finishes have been inside of the top 14. Going back to the old car, Dillon has always seen success here with seven finishes inside the top 14 in the last nine races, and 12 top 15s in his 23 career starts at the track. Good history plus current form make Dillon a great bet this week.

Ryan Blaney to Win (+700)

I’m calling my shot on the #12 Penske Ford this week. The 2023 Cup Series champion has consistently had a super fast car this season, but can’t seem to get over the hump, something always gets him. Leaving out Talladega, Blaney has scored three top-five finishes in a row, and he’s due to head to victory lane. Last week, all four Penske-affiliated drivers had fast cars. Logano won, Berry and Cindric leading for periods, and Ryan finishing third. It was the same story at Las Vegas, where Josh Berry ended up getting the win, and the Penske Fords looked fast.
