After a rare week off, the UFC is back up and running this coming weekend with UFC Fight Night: Machado Garry vs Prates (aka UFC Kansas City). Since it’s a “road game” for the UFC (not a UFC Apex event), we get a pretty solid fight card. For my MMA Parlay of the Week: UFC Kansas City, I’m parlaying my two favorite plays for the event. Let’s get it on, c’mon!

MMA Parlay of the Week: UFC Kansas City
UFC Fight Night: Machado vs Garry (AKA UFC Kansas City)
Start Time: 6:00 PM EST (ESPN2/ESPN+)
The first half of our parlay is my “lock” for the night, Roberto Romero. The Mexican featherweight faces Timmy Cuamba in the second fight of the night. While both men are winless in the UFC (Romero is 0-1, Cuamba 0-2), Romero looked very good in his short-notice debut against the other half of this parlay.
That other half would be David Onama, who is fighting third from the top today against Giga Chikadze. Onama is six years Chikadze’s junior and has much less wear on his tires, and he’s explosive and powerful on the feet and a much better grappler.
