Detroit Pistons vs New York Knicks

Start Time – 7:30 PM EST

With only two games on the schedule on Monday, we’re making plays on both of them, starting with Game 2 between the Detroit Pistons and the New York Knicks. After falling behind late, the Knicks scored 21 straight points against the Pistons in Game 1, extending Detroit’s long playoff winless drought.

The young Pistons played shook on Saturday night, and I think that carries over on Monday. The Knicks on the spread is my play.

Los Angeles Clippers vs Denver Nuggets

Start Time – 10:30 PM EST

It took an overtime period, but the Denver Nuggets took care of business at home in Game 1, edging the Los Angeles Clippers by two points. Now, despite winning and being favored for Game 1, the Nuggets find themselves the dog heading into Game 2.

And I’ll gladly take them plus the points. They have the best player in the world in Nikola Jokic and the best home-court advantage in the NBA. Denver plus the points, it is then.
