Kentucky Wildcats vs Tennessee Volunteers

The 2 vs 3 battle in the Midwest Region is an all-SEC matchup, with the Kentucky Wildcats facing off against the higher-ranked Tennessee Volunteers for the third time this season. Yet despite going 2-0 against the Volunteers this season, the Wildcats are the dogs heading into this third encounter.
And while I’m not going out on a limb and predicting a Kentucky win (I’m a coward), I do think they can keep the game close enough for us to take them on the spread. As mentioned, they’ve had Tennessee’s number this season, beating them by five and 11 points. And when I dive into the advanced stats I use to handicap games, I’ve come up with the line of Tennessee -3. While it’s close to the number we’re getting at the books, it still makes the Wildcats worth a play on the spread (it’s the best play I’ve got for the four games on the schedule tomorrow).
