It’s because of the “consolation bracket” of March Madness, the National Invitational Tournament, is a go tomorrow with their quarterfinal round. After losing in the Southern Conference and Missouri Valley Conference finals, respectively, the Chattanooga Mocs and the Bradley Braves have extended their seasons by going on a run in the NIT, winning both their games heading into this quarterfinal matchup on Bradley’s campus. But someone’s season is ending tomorrow, and I think it’ll be the Mocs’.
Getting to play at home is a big boon for the #3 seeded Braves, as they are 15-3 on their home floor this season, plus home court is worth over five points per game for them historically. After taking that into account, along with the advanced stats, I have Bradley as a 10-point favorite tomorrow night, so we’re getting a really good number on them at the books.
