St. John’s is nasty on defense, and Telfort should play close to 40 minutes in this game. He’s going to hand the ball back at least three times if his usage rate is that high. Chucky Hepburn Higher Than 1.5 Steals
The Stanford Cardinal gets to face the Louisville Cardinals in an ACC tournament quarterfinal match up. Chucky Hepburn is taking the ball away at least twice in this game.
Hepburn enters this game averaging 2.4 steals per game this year. He’s gone higher than 1.5 steals in six of his last seven games. Hepburn faced Stanford on March 8th. He racked up four steals against the Cardinal less than a week ago.
Stanford gives away an average of 6.9 steals per game this year. That’s 146th in the nation. That’s not terrible, but they’re playing the second of a back-to-back against a nasty Louisville defense. Zach Freemantle Higher Than 6.5 Rebounds
Xavier draws Marquette in a Big East tournament quarterfinal match up today. Marquette comes into this game allowing opponents to average 35.8 rebounds per game this year. Let’s lock up Xavier big man Zach Freemantle to fill up the stat sheet in this match up.
Freemantle comes into this game averaging 7.1 rebounds per game this year. He’s gone higher than 6.5 rebounds in five of his last seven games played. Freemantle played Marquette once this year. He racked up 10 rebounds at Marquette on January 18th.
Catching Freemantle at 6.5 rebounds in a game that he could play close to 40 minutes feels like a steal. He’s been playing well recently, and has a track record of success against the Golden Eagles.
