Jahmyl Telfort Higher Than 2.5 Turnovers

Butler gets St. John’s in a Big East tournament quarterfinal match up. The Red Storm defense will more than likely mess with Bulldogs forward Jahmyl Telfort.

Telfort comes into this game averaging 2.2 assists per game this season. He’s gone higher than 2.5 turnovers in six of his last 11 games played. Telfort also faced St. John’s twice this year. He turned it over five times on January 4th, and three times on February 26th.

St. John’s is seventh in the nation in turnovers created. The Red Storm average 15.6 turnovers per game on defense this year. St. John’s is nasty on defense, and Telfort should play close to 40 minutes in this game. He’s going to hand the ball back at least three times if his usage rate is that high. Lock up Telfort to go higher than 2.5 turnovers in your Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry for March 13th.

Chucky Hepburn Higher Than 1.5 Steals

The Stanford Cardinal gets to face the Louisville Cardinals in an ACC tournament quarterfinal match up. Chucky Hepburn is taking the ball away at least twice in this game.

Hepburn enters this game averaging 2.4 steals per game this year. He’s gone higher than 1.5 steals in six of his last seven games. Hepburn faced Stanford on March 8th. He racked up four steals against the Cardinal less than a week ago.

Stanford gives away an average of 6.9 steals per game this year. That’s 146th in the nation. That’s not terrible, but they’re playing the second of a back-to-back against a nasty Louisville defense. Look for Stanford to be a little looser with the ball than normal. Hepburn is a great spot to go higher than 1.5 steals, and you’ll want him in your Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry.

Zach Freemantle Higher Than 6.5 Rebounds

Xavier draws Marquette in a Big East tournament quarterfinal match up today. Marquette comes into this game allowing opponents to average 35.8 rebounds per game this year. Let’s lock up Xavier big man Zach Freemantle to fill up the stat sheet in this match up.

Freemantle comes into this game averaging 7.1 rebounds per game this year. He’s gone higher than 6.5 rebounds in five of his last seven games played. Freemantle played Marquette once this year. He racked up 10 rebounds at Marquette on January 18th.

Catching Freemantle at 6.5 rebounds in a game that he could play close to 40 minutes feels like a steal. He’s been playing well recently, and has a track record of success against the Golden Eagles. This is one of the safest projections on the board for an Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry today.
