We are only six days away from Selection Sunday. The good news is that we have a ton of conference tournament games to get through. However, this also means that we have less than a month left before college hoops is gone until November. Today’s slate has 24 games. That’s more than enough to put together an Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry. We’ve also found three projections that you’ll want to lock in for today’s action.
Keep in mind that playing all three legs of our plays in Underdog Fantasy could win you 6X your money on a single entry. Let’s dig into tonight’s plays and remember to let it ride!

DJ Richards Higher Than 2.5 3-Pointers Made
McNeese State takes on Northwestern State in a Southland Conference tournament semifinal match up. Let’s lock in McNeese sharpshooter DJ Richards to sink at least three three-pointers in this game.
Northwestern State allows opponents to shoot 35.6% from beyond the arc this season. That’s 283rd in the nation. The Demons also allow opponents to average 8.0 made three-pointers per game this year. That’s 239th in the nation. Perimeter defense is clearly a challenge for the Demons.
Cowboys guard DJ Richards comes into this game averaging 10.0 points per game. However, he’s shot the lights out against Northwestern State both times he’s played them. Richards went 6-for-7 from deep on January 6th and 4-for-10 on February 8th. Going higher than 10.5 points is also in play, but Richards shoots almost exclusively from three-point range.
In six of his last eight games, Richards has also made at least three three-pointers.
This is a case of a trend, a player, and an opponent lining up for us. You’ll want to go higher on Richards’ made three-pointers in your Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry for March 11th.
Dug McDaniel Higher Than 4.5 Assists
Kansas State meets Arizona State in a Big 12 conference tournament first round match up today. Arizona State allowed opponents to average 14.7 assists per game this year. That’s 291st in the nation. Kansas State point guard Dug McDaniel should have no problem going higher than 4.5 assists in this game.
McDaniel enters this game averaging 4.9 assists per game this year. He’s gone higher than 4.5 assists in five of his last six games. McDaniel has faced Arizona State twice this year. He managed nine assists on February 4th and seven assists on February 23rd. Dishing out five assists should be a breeze in this game.
Arizona State enters this game on a four-game losing streak. Their last win was at Kansas State in Manhatten. The Wildcats should come to play, and Dug McDaniel should get a full workload in this game. Lock up McDaniel to go higher than 4.5 assists against the Sun Devils in your Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry.
Money Williams Higher Than 1.5 Turnovers
Idaho draws Montana in a Big Sky conference tournament semifinal game tonight. Montana combo guard Money Williams will hand the ball back to Idaho at least twice in this game.
Williams enters this game averaging 2.6 turnovers per game this year. He’s gone higher than 1.5 turnovers in four straight games. Williams has also faced Idaho twice this year and went higher than 1.5 turnovers in both games. He racked up two turnovers on January 4th and four turnovers on January 20th.
Idaho isn’t anything special on defense, but Williams has clearly struggled against their backcourt defense. This game is in Boise, ID, and Idaho should have the crowd here. This is a borderline home game for the Vandals, and that, combined with the trend and the quick turnaround, should help us get home in this game. Lock up Money Williams to go higher than 1.5 turnovers in your Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry.
