College Basketball Picks March 7
Memphis -13.5 vs. USF
Penny Hardaway has once again positioned his team well for a decent March Madness draw. The Tigers are 25-5 and sit atop the American Conference. Memphis has shown they can compete with some of the best teams in the country, yet they have had some shockingly poor performances. Inconsistency has negatively affected this bunch.
USF has been downright bad, especially as of late. They have lost six of seven games and have only covered the spread in three of their last 14 games. The Bulls are one of the worst offensive teams in the nation, as they don’t have a single player averaging more than 13.0 points per game.
Memphis, at their best, is one of the best teams in the country. Am I a Penny Hardaway believer in the tournament? No, but for this spot, I like the Tigers.
