David N’Guessan Higher Than 12.5 Points

Colorado takes a trip to Manhattan, KS for a match up with Kansas State today. Wildcats forward David N’Guessan should rack up at least 13 points in this game.

The Buffaloes have allowed opponents to average 71.9 points per game this year. That’s 166th in the nation. They also allow opponents to shoot 49.9% on two-point shots. That’s 139th in the nation. The Buffs also allow opponents to get to the line a lot.

N’Guessan comes into this game averaging 13.5 points per game at home this year. He’s also a much better free throw shooter in Manhattan than he is on the road. N’Guessan has gone higher than 12.5 points in four of his last five conference home games. He’s been struggling on the road, but this is a fantastic ‘get right’ spot for N’Guessan to score more than 12.5 points.

The Buffs have been a mess, especially on the road this year, and N’Guessan has been one of the top options on offense. He should also shoot better than 50% from the line in this one. Lock up N’Guessan to score more than 12.5 points in your Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry for March 2nd.

Kasparas Jakucionis Higher Than 2.5 Turnovers

Illinois heads to Ann Arbor for a game against Michigan today. Illinois freshman Kasparas Jakucionis has been a turnover machine, especially when he plays away from Champaign. Let’s go higher on his turnovers projection.

Jakucionis averages 3.8 turnovers per game on the road this year. He’s gone higher than 2.5 turnovers in six out of nine conference road games. Jakucionis has also generated more than 2.5 turnovers in seven of his last 11 games played.

On defense, Michigan is rated as the 16th best defense in the nation according to KenPom. The Wolverines have gotten opponents to generate 12.0 turnovers per game this year. That’s 159th in the nation. They perform slightly better at home and get opponents to hand the ball over 12.9 times per game at home.

Going higher on Jakucionis turnover projections has been a system play. On a short slate, we’re going to stick with the system in today’s Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry.

John Blackwell Lower Than 15.5 Points

Wisconsin pays a visit to East Lansing for a game against Michigan State today. Badgers sharpshooter John Blackwell should struggle today.

Michigan State is nasty when it comes to perimeter defense. The Spartans have held opponents to a three-point percentage of 28.8%. That’s fifth best in the nation. Michigan State also only allows opponents to average 66.8 points per game this year. That’s 33rd in the nation.

Blackwell averages 15.3 points per game on the road this year. However, he’s gone lower than 15.5 points in three of his last four conference road games. Blackwell has also gone lower than 15.5 points in six of his last nine games.

This is a great spot to fade a shooter, and that’s exactly what we’re going to do. Take Blackwell to go lower than 15.5 points in your Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry for March 2nd.
