The NFL season is over, and the Philadelphia Eagles have brought home another Lombardi trophy. 31 other teams are hungry to be the next team to win it all, and the Eagles are just as hungry to repeat. It all starts in the NFL Draft in April. A draft pick can change the course of history for your team and the league. Now that the order is set, let’s take a look at my 2025 NFL Draft 3-round mock 1.0.
A lot of things will still change between now and April 24th in Green Bay, Wisconsin when the first round of the NFL Draft takes place. Free Agency, resigning and cutting players, retirements, and trades. Grades on players will change, and the Combine, medical reports and interviews will make stock on a player soar, or suffer.
So, given the information we have today and what the team needs, we can see as the season has just come to a close. Let’s dive in and see who your favorite team may consider drafting in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft. I will not be making any trades in this mock. As of right now, every team holds their own first-round pick, and all 32 teams will have selections. Tennessee Titans, you are now on the clock.
2025 NFL Draft: 3-Round Mock Draft 1.0 – Cody Zeeb
Round 1
The first round started off a little different than what was thought to be consensus before. The Titans have said they’ll target a “generational talent.” None of the quarterbacks in this class match that description. Cam Ward dropped farther than I imagined he would when I set out to do this, but I think that speaks to the strength, or lack thereof, at quarterback in this class.
Ashton Jeanty dropping to pick #20 should be the dream world for fantasy football players in 2025. Seven cornerbacks, six offensive tackles and five edge players are the most popular positions in Round 1.
1 | Titans | Abdul Carter | ED | Penn State |
Initially, I thought the Titans had to go quarterback here. But this class isn’t the strongest one, and Carter is a generational player. Maybe they can roll the dice with Will Levis for one more season and replace him next year if needed. A versatile off-ball linebacker, he’ll wreak havoc in the pass rush game for the Titans for years to come. |
||||
2 | Browns | Travis Hunter | WR/CB | Colorado |
Another team that could certainly go quarterback in the Draft, but they could also solve this problem in free agency. Maybe Aaron Rodgers is the guy? Either way, they have another generational talent on the board here that’s too good to pass up. He’ll likely play defensive back but could make an impact on offense as well. |
||||
3 | Giants | Shedeur Sanders | QB | Colorado |
The Giants get lucky with their guy falling to them at pick three. If Sanders is here, I don’t see the Giants passing up on him. The coach and GM are already on the hot seat, and they desperately need a quarterback. Sander is flashy, tough, and resilient. At Colorado, he racked up 4,134 passing yards, 37 TD passes, 10 interceptions, and four rushing TDs. |
||||
4 | Patriots | Tetairoa McMillian | WR | Arizona |
McMillan is a player who’s shot up my board throughout the early draft process. This is a great spot for the Patriots to address getting a weapon for their young stud quarterback in Drake Maye. They lead the league in cap space and hopefully use that to address the offensive line. Then you bring in McMillian, who is a big 6’ 5” wide receiver from Arizona who can play outside and catch the contested ball but also has the athletic ability to play in the slot. |
||||
5 | Jaguars | Will Johnson | CB | Michigan |
No team gave up more passing yards on defense in 2024 than the Jacksonville Jaguars. Only four teams gave up more passing touchdowns than the team. They need help securing their defensive backfield, and Johnson would be a great addition to help Tyson Campbell lock things down. |
||||
6 | Raiders | Mason Graham | DT | Michigan |
Another team that could consider quarterback here, but with Pete Carroll as Head Coach, it feels like this team wants to win now more. Russell Wilson is the most obvious candidate, but maybe it could be Kirk Cousins or someone else. So, let’s shore up the focus on the defensive line. Graham would be a great addition to their already strong defensive front, shoring up the middle of the defense. |
||||
7 | Jets | Cam Ward | QB | Miami |
Ward finally goes off the board, to a place that’s been looking for the quarterback answer for a while. They’ve moved on from Aaron Rodgers, the 6’ 2” Miami star who was a Heisman finalist last season and takes over as the next Jets quarterback, a welcome sight for Garrett Wilson. |
||||
8 | Panthers | Mykel Williams | ED | Georgia |
The Panthers gave up the most points in the NFL since 1981 in 2024. It looks like Bryce Young has earned himself another year as the team's starter, and now they need to start to shore up this defense. Derrick Brown will return to anchor their line, and Williams can put pressure on the quarterback. |
||||
9 | Saints | Azareye’h Thomas | CB | FSU |
The Saints' defense needs some big-time help, and while their new Head Coach Kellen Moore is an offensive guy, he just saw how a strong young defensive backfield can help carry you to a Super Bowl victory. Thomas has the perfect combination of physicality and athleticism to make an immediate impact in New Orleans. |
||||
10 | Bears | Kelvin Banks Jr | OT | Texas |
It's pretty simple for the Bears. You found your new franchise quarterback, who showed plenty in his rookie season. But your offensive line just straight up stinks. Caleb Williams almost set the sack record, which is not a stat a quarterback ever wants to have. Bring in some new blood to block for the franchise guy. The Bears would love if Banks slips to them at 10. |
||||
11 | 49ers | Will Campbell | OT | LSU |
Trent Williams is almost 37-years old. While he’s one of the greats, if Campbell drops this far on the board, it’s a no-brainer for the 49ers to grab him and have him learn from Williams and be the future anchor of their offensive line. Campbell only gave up two sacks in the last two seasons is the perfect guy here. |
||||
12 | Cowboys | Jalon Walker | LB | Georgia |
Ashton Jeanty is definitely in play here, but this is a deep running-back class. I considered Guard to replace Zack Martin, but it’s a bit too early. With Jalen Walker projected to go top 10 by some still on the board at 12. Booger McFarland compared him to Micha Parsons. Who better to put him in the same room with and strengthen that Cowboys linebacking core? |
||||
13 | Dolphins | Malaki Starks | S | Georgia |
Jevon Holland could be on his way out of Miami in free agency, and the Dolphins need some help on the back end. Starks is a sure tackler who’s just as good at stopping the run game as he is the pass game. Even if Holland returns to the team, Starks could plug and play anywhere in the secondary. |
||||
14 | Colts | Tyler Warren | TE | Penn State |
This is an endorsement of Anthony Richardson. Push all the chips in on this young quarterback. He’s shown some of the tools, but he's just been inconsistent. He’s got Pittman, Downs, and Taylor at running back. Let’s give him the top tight end in the draft. A big 6’ 6” 257 lbs target to throw the ball to that has great hands. Another tool for Richardson to prove he’s the guy or not the guy. |
||||
15 | Falcons | Shavon Revel Jr | CB | East Carolina |
The Falcons only have five picks (currently) in the 2025 NFL Draft, so they need to use them wisely. One of their biggest needs is in the defensive backfield, and Revel Jr has a lot of promise. He tore his ACL in the third game of the season, so medical questions will need to be answered, but the Falcons have just shown us that if the right guy is on the board, they aren’t afraid to take him and wait til he’s ready. I think that’ll be the case here with the best player available, and he’s at a position of need.
16 | Cardinals | Mike Green | ED | Marshall |
The Cardinals lacked getting pressure on the quarterback in 2024, ranking 26th in pressure rate. Green led the nation in sacks with 17 for Marshall last year. He can immediately bolster a pass rush that needs it badly. |
||||
17 | Bengals | Walter Nolen | DT | Ole Miss |
Few things were as clear for the Bengals last year as their defense needs help. They’ve brought in a new defensive coordinator, and that’s where their top focus needs to be in this draft. Nolen has all the traits you want in a DT, now he just needs to execute. If he hits the level he’s capable of, this is a big get for the Bengals.
18 | Seahawks | Josh Simmons | OT | Ohio State |
Seattle keeps trying to fix their offensive line through the draft, and it’s not gone well over the last few years. Laken Tomlinson is a free agent, and Abraham Lucas hasn’t been able to stay healthy. Simmons is recovering from an injury but proved to be a consistent player when he was on the field. He’ll be a great asset to give Geno more time in the pocket. |
||||
19 | Buccaneers | James Pearce Jr | ED | Tennesee |
Tampa Bay doesn’t have a single edge rusher with more than three sacks in 2024. They’ll be looking to change that in 2025 with a guy in Pearce who shows a ton of speed off the edge. He’ll be able to be the disruptor the Buccaneers need.
20 | Broncos | Ashton Jeanty | RB | Boise State |
This is the perfect situation for all involved. If the Cowboys don’t take Jeanty at pick 12, I think he may slide down to the Broncos here. Bo Nix appears to be the guy for them, and they need a real answer at running back. Jeanty is an explosive and special player who immediately changes this offense.
21 | Steelers | Trey Amos | CB | Ole Miss |
The Steelers hit in 2023, snagging Joey Porter Jr in the second round of the NFL Draft, and now it’s time to put someone opposite him. Amos has a knack for adjusting to the ball. He recorded 15 pass breakups, which is good for second best in all of FBS this season.
22 | Chargers | Colston Loveland | TE | Michigan |
Jim Harbaugh will be locking his lips if his former tight end is available for his new team to snag at pick 22. Loveland is a strong receiver but isn’t afraid to block and get dirty when he needs to. He’s the perfect addition for Justin Herbert and company. |
||||
23 | Packers | Emeka Egubka | WR | Ohio State |
The Packers need to fix their wide receiver room. Egubka is one of the most pro-ready receivers. The 6’1”, 205 lbs Egubka would slide right into this offense, and if he can gel with Love early, watch out.
24 | Vikings | Derrick Harmon | DT | Oregon |
The Vikings could really use some interior pass rush help. Harmon is a versatile player who can plug up the middle and move around on the line to get pressure on the quarterback. |
||||
25 | Texans | Luther Burden III | WR | Missouri |
After the injury to Tank Dell, the team is going to have to replace him. If Luther Burden is still on the board here it seems like a great fit. His ability to make plays after the catch is his most attractive quality, and the Texans have a quarterback who can get him the ball. |
||||
26 | Rams | Jonah Savaiinaea | OT/G | Arizona |
Both Alaric Jackson and Joe Noteboom are headed for free agency, and it looks like Stafford is back at quarterback for the Rams. The 6’ 5” Savaiinaea, who can play both tackle and guard, will help protect Stafford nest season.
27 | Ravens | Tyler Booker | G | Alabama |
The Ravens' Ronnie Stanley and Patrick Mekari are both due to hit free agency this year. Booker is a true guard but showed the ability to pop out and play tackle at Alabama when needed. Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry need a strong offensive line to protect them, and it doesn’t get much stronger than Booker. |
||||
28 | Lions | Kenneth Grant | DT | Michigan |
The big Michigan man gets to stay home and play for the Detroit Lions. Dan Campbell likes big, tough defensive players, and the Lions need to add to their pass rush. Grant slides in perfectly with this team. |
||||
29 | Commanders | Aireonte Ersery | OT | Minnesota |
The Commanders struck gold last year and scored big with Jayden Daniels, who led the team to the NFC Championship game last season. Their number one priority this off-season should be to shore up their offensive line and protect the future. Ersery has 39 career starts under his belt and has both power and speed at the tackle position. |
||||
30 | Bills | Darius Alexander | DT | Toledo |
The Bills need help in the middle of their defense with Quinton Jefferson, Jordan Phillips, and Austin Johnson all headed for free agency. Alexander fills that need.
31 | Chiefs | Donavan Jackson | OT/G | Ohio State |
Did anyone else watch the Super Bowl? The Chiefs must do something about their offensive line to protect Patrick Mahomes and keep another embarrassing loss like Gary from happening. Powerful, dependable, and versatile is how he’s been described. That’s exactly what the Chiefs need.
32 | Eagles | Shemar Stewart | ED | Texas A&M |
The Champs will absolutely love it if Stewart is still on the board for them at pick 32. Josh Sweat and Zack Braun are headed for free agency, and the Eagles have been money selecting defensive lineman in the draft lately. This is a no brainer for the Eagles. |
Round 2
The second round is loaded with cornerbacks in a very deep defensive backfield draft, five more go off the board. Four wide receivers and four offensive tackles go in the second round. The Eagles roll the dice with a luxury pick and grab themselves the running back of the future.
33 | Browns | Kyle Kennard | ED | South Carolina |
Myles Garrett is likely on the move from Cleveland, and the team already lacks depth at the position.
34 | Giants | Emory Jones Jr | OT | LSU |
The Giants answered the quarterback spot in the first round with Sanders. Now it’s time to protect him.
35 | Titans | Armand Membou | OT/G | Missouri |
In this mock, the Titans stuck with Will Levis. Let’s get him some more protection and give him time in the pocket in 2025. In this mock, the Titans stuck with Will Levis. Let’s get him some more protection and give him time in the pocket in 2025. |
||||
36 | Jaguars | Nick Emmanwori. | S | South Carolina |
Defensive backfield in round one, and again in round 2. The Jaguars took notes from the Eagles' draft last season.
37 | Raiders | Jaxson Dart | QB | Ole Miss |
The Raiders will likely bring in a veteran quarterback for the 2025 season, but why not bring in a guy to learn behind Wilson, Stafford, Rodgers, or whoever takes the reins?
38 | Patriots | Josh Conerly Jr | OT | Oregon |
There’s no question the Patriots need to go offensive line with this pick after addressing wide receiver in round one. |
||||
39 | Bears | Grey Zabel | G/C | North Carolina |
The Bears' draft board should just have a big note that says Protect Caleb Williams. They went offensive tackle in round one, now they are addressing the interior offensive line. |
||||
40 | Saints | Tre Harris | WR | Ole Miss |
They need a strong possession wide receiver to pair up with Chris Olave and give Derek Carr a boost. |
||||
41 | Bears | Nic Scourton | ED | Texas A&M/b> |
The Bears are loaded with early picks, honestly I’d be fine if they picked a third offensive lineman here, but they’ll address the pass rush with pick 41.
42 | Jets | Benjamin Morris | CB | Notre Dame |
The Jets turn to defense in round two after securing their quarterback in the first round. |
||||
43 | 49ers | Jihaad Campbell | LB | Alabama |
If Cambell falls this far, he’ll be the second Cambell the 49ers draft in 2025. They should race to the podium to get this one in.
44 | Cowboys | Omarion Hampton | RB | North Carolina |
Their patience paid off by passing up on Jeanty in round one. The Cowboys still get a great running back here in the second round. |
||||
45 | Colts | Maxwell Hairston | CB | Kentucky |
The second round is loaded with secondary help for teams that need it. The Colts certainly could use some help in the back end. |
||||
46 | Falcons | Princely Umanmielen | ED | Ole Miss |
The Falcons already got their secondary help, now they’ll address the pass rush in royal fashion. |
||||
47 | Cardinals | Yahya Black | DT | Iowa |
The Cardinals go back to back on the defensive line where they could be losing up to five of their current defensive lineman in free agency.
48 | Dolphins | TJ sanders | DT | South Carolina |
The Dolphins need defensive help, After going safety in the first round, it’s time to address the defensive front with Sanders. |
||||
49 | Bengals | Harold Fannin Jr | TE | Bowling Green |
Let’s get a new toy for Joe Burrow. Mike Gesicki was a serviceable tight end last year, but he’s a free agent, and the Bengals could use an upgrade. |
||||
50 | Seahawks | Tyleik Williams | DT | Ohio State |
Offensive tackle in the first round for Seattle, now they address defensive tackle. |
||||
51 | Broncos | Matthew Golden | WR | Texas |
The Broncos are having a winning draft thus far. They get Ashton Jeanty in round one, and turn around and get another offensive weapon in the second round in Golden.
52 | Steelers | Jalen Milroe | QB | Alabama |
I believe, like the Raiders, the Steelers will bring in a veteran quarterback for the 2025 season. This is their chance to grab and develop a guy instead of just throwing someone to the wolves.
53 | Buccaneers | Wyatt Milum | OT | West Virginia |
More protection for Baker Mayfield and his countless offensive weapons.
54 | Packers | Quincy Riley | CB | Louisville |
Green Bay is another team that benefits from a deep defensive back class. |
||||
55 | Chargers | Jack Sawyer | ED | Ohio State |
Jim Harbaugh drafting a Buckeye? If the fit is right, you can’t pass it up! Lining up across from fellow Buckeye Joey Bosa could be a dangerous duo. |
||||
56 | Bills | Isaiah Bond | WR | Texas |
Josh Allen needs help. They’ve got second year big man Keon Coleman and just re-signed Khalil Shakir, now they add the speedy Bond. |
||||
57 | Panthers | Tez Johnson | WR | Oregon |
The Panthers have committed to another season of Bryce Young. With that, they need to keep adding weapons for him. At only 5’9”, what Johnson lacks in height, he gains in speed and play making ability. |
||||
58 | Texans | Jahdae Barron | CB | Texas |
The Texans keep Barron in-state to help bolster their defensive backfield. |
||||
59 | Ravens | Cameron Williams | OT | Texas |
The Ravens are committed to their offensive line in this draft. After a guard in round one, it’s back to the line with a tackle in the second. |
||||
60 | Lions | Maxwell Hariston | CB | Kentucky |
It’s another defensive player for the Lions here in Kentucky’s Hairston.
61 | Commanders | Chris Paul Jr | LB | Ole Miss |
Paul Jr’s instincts are what sets him apart. He’ll be a great addition to the Commanders' defense run by Dan Quinn.
62 | Bills | Andrew Mukuba | S | Texas |
With their third pick in the draft, the Bills go with the Texas safety to add to their picks of defensive tackle and wide receiver. |
||||
63 | Chiefs | Jared Wilson | C | Georgia |
For Kansas City, get as much help with the offensive line as you possibly can. Wilson has experience at guard and can move around on the interior of the line. |
||||
64 | Eagles | TreVeyon Henderson | RB | Ohio State |
This is a bit of a luxury pick, but think about it. They put a lot of mileage on Barkley this season. This gives them a solid player to spell him with and sets them up for a potential future running back. It’s a win-win for a team that loves to run the ball. |
2025 NFL Draft: 3-Round Mock Draft 1.0 – Cody Zeeb
Round 3
The third round sees the Chiefs also go running back, looking to supplement their backfield that struggled in 2024 with injury and replacements. Six wide receivers go off the board, with a few teams grabbing a quarterback. The Seahawks grab their potential quarterback of the future while the Jaguars hope to find a strong backup.
65 | Giants | Zy Alexander | CB | LSU |
66 | Chiefs | Kaleb Johnson | RB | Iowa |
67 | Browns | Marcus Mbow | OT | Purdue |
68 | Raiders | Quinshon Judkins | RB | Ohio State |
69 | Patriots | Donavan Ezeiruaku | ED | Boston College |
70 | Jaguars | Jayden Higgins | WR | Iowa |
71 | Saints | Elijah Arroyo | TE | Miami |
72 | Bears | Xavier Watts | S | Notre Dame |
73 | Raiders | Darien Porter | CB | Iowa State |
74 | Panthers | Deone Walker | DT | Kentucky |
75 | 49ers | Jordan Burch | ED | Oregon |
76 | Cowboys | Alfred Collins | DT | Texas |
77 | Patriots | Cam Skattebo | RB | Arizona State |
78 | Cardinals | Elic Ayomanor | WR | Stanford |
79 | Commanders | Ja’Corey Brooks | WR | Louisville |
80 | Colts | Tate Rutledge | G | Georgia |
81 | Bengals | Anthony Bolton | OT | North Carolina |
82 | Seahawks | Will Howard | QB | Ohio State |
83 | Steelers | Dylan Sampson | RB | Tennesee |
84 | Buccaneers | Tai Felton | WR | Maryland |
85 | Broncos | Omar Norman-Lott | DT | Tennesee |
86 | Chargers | Kevin Winston Jr | S | Penn State |
87 | Packers | Bradyn Swinson | ED | LSU |
88 | Jaguars | Kyle McCord | QB | Syracuse |
89 | Texans | Hollins Pierce | OT | Rutgers |
90 | Rams | Demetrius Knight | LB | South Carolina |
91 | Ravens | Ricky White | WR | UNLV |
92 | Jets | Sai’vion Jones | DT | LSU |
93 | Saints | DJ Gideons | RB | Kansas |
94 | Browns | Savion Williams | WR | TCU |
95 | Chiefs | Mason Taylor | TE | LSU |
96 | Eagles | Carson Schwesinger | LB | UCLA |
