Caleb Grill Higher Than 13.5 Points
South Carolina heads to Columbia, MO for a match up with the Tigers tonight. The Gamecocks allow opponents to shoot 35.5% from beyond the arc this season. That’s 273rd in the nation. Look for Missouri sharpshooter Caleb Grill to fill it up against South Carolina.
Grill enters this game averaging 14.5 points per game at home this year. He’s gone higher than 13.5 points three of his last four games. Grill has also gone higher in four of his last six conference home games.
South Carolina struggles to defend the perimeter and Grill shoots 50.0% from beyond the arc at home. His made 3-pointers projection is a little beefy, but his points total is in line with his season average, and he should find space to get open against a leaky Gamecocks defense. Look for Grill to go higher than 13.5 points for your Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry.
Max Shulga Higher Than 8.5 Rebounds + Assists
VCU pays a visit to Richmond tonight. These two teams met once this season. Not only did VCU win by 41 points, but Rams point guard Max Shulga racked up 11 rebounds and assists in 27 minutes played.
Richmond allows opponents to dish out 12.6 assists per game this year. That’s 119th in the nation. The Spiders also allow opponents to pull down 35.6 rebounds per game this year. That’s 243rd in the nation.
VCU point guard Max Shulga is really good at filling up the rebounds and assists columns. He comes into this game averaging 6.0 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game on the road. He’s gone higher than 8.5 RA in five of his last six games. Shulga has also gone higher than 8.5 RA in five out of seven conference road games.
Shulga is one of the best all-around players in the conference, the offense runs through him, and he’s able to snag more than his fair share of rebounds. Shulga should have no problem going higher than 8.5 rebounds and assists against Richmond tonight. Lock him up in your Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry for February 25th.
John Tonje Higher Than 1.5 3-Pointers Made
Washington makes the trip to Madison, WI for a game against the Badgers tonight. The Huskies allow opponents to shoot 34.1% from beyond the arc this year. That’s 202nd in the nation. Wisconsin guard John Tonje should get at least two really good looks from distance in this one.
Tonje comes into this match up averaging 2.1 made three-pointers at home this year. He’s gone higher than 1.5 made three’s in eight of his last nine games. Tonje has also cleared 1.5 three-pointers made in five out of eight conference home games.
Washington isn’t the tightest on defense, and they have to face Tonje in Madison, WI. Tonje is skilled enough to make the Huskies pay for letting him get a good look, and he shoots enough volume for this to be in play. Look for Tonje to continue to fill it up from range, and make sure you go higher on his made three-pointers for your Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry.
