Bruce Thornton Higher Than 16.5 Points
Northwestern heads to Columbus, OH for a game against Ohio State. The Wildcats allow opponents to shoot 34.7% from beyond the arc. That’s 240th in the nation. They also allow opponents to average 75.1 points per game when the Wildcats are on the road.
Bruce Thornton averages 19.2 points per game at home this year. He’s also shooting over 40% from beyond the arc this year. Thornton has gone higher than 16.5 points in six out of eight conference home games, and he’s riding a two-game streak of 17 points.
Thornton is known for turning it up at home, and this is a great spot against a team that struggles to defend the perimeter. Look for Thornton to soar over 16.5 points, and go green if you choose ‘higher’ in your Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry for February 20th.
Derik Queen higher than 16.5 Points
USC travels to Maryland for a match up with the Terps tonight. The Trojans allow opponents to score 72.9 points per game. That’s 194th in the nation. They also allow opponents to shoot 53.4% on two-point shots. Maryland big man Derik Queen is going to feast in the post against the Trojans tonight.
Queen enters this game averaging 16.1 points per game at home this year. However, he’s gone higher than 16.5 points in three straight games. Queen has also gone higher than 16.5 points in three of his last five conference home games.
Queen has gone full beast mode during the Terps current three-game winning streak. Maryland should rack up their fourth straight win tonight, and Queen will be a problem for a USC defense that struggles to defend the post. Lock up Queen to go higher than 16.5 points for a fourth straight game in your Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry.
Stefan Todorovic Higher Than 1.5 3-Pointers Made
Oregon State is heading to Malibu, CA for a game against Pepperdine. The Beavers are allowing opponents to shoot 33.6% from three-point range this year. That’s 165th in the nation overall. The Beavers also allow opponents to shoot 36.6% from deep on the road. This is a great spot for Pepperdine forward Stefan Todorovic to drain at least two three-pointers.
Todorovic enters this match up shooting 39.4% from beyond the arc. He also averages 1.9 made three-pointers per game at home this year. Todorovic has faced Oregon State on the road this year, and he did, in fact, drain a pair of three’s. He’s also gone higher than 1.5 made three-pointers in four straight games.
Todorovic has been hot from beyond the arc recently, so let’s ride with him against a team he’s already had success against this year. Pepperdine will likely be trailing for most of this game, and he should get plenty of opportunities to fire away from deep. Make sure you go higher on Todorovic’s made three-pointers total in your Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry.
