All Pick Em Selections: 148-128-3
Perfect 3-0 Pick Em Entries: 15-78
Koby Brea Higher Than 11.5 Points
Vanderbilt heads to Lexington, KY for a game against the Wildcats tonight. The Commodores allow opponents to score 72.6 points per game this year. That’s 188th in the nation. Vanderbilt also allows opponents to shoot 37.3% from beyond the arc. That’s 345th in the nation.
Kentucky guard Koby Brea has seen his usage rate increase with the recent injuries to Jaxson Robinson and Lamont Butler. He’s averaging 12.7 points per game at home this year. Brea has only gone higher than 11.5 points in five out of 16 home games this year, but his usage rate was a bit lower before his teammates started missing games.
This is ‘the’ match up for a sharpshooter like Brea to take advantage of. Going higher on 2.5 made 3-pointers is also in play, but he should clear the points total even if he misses going higher on his three-pointers. Lock up Kolby Brea to go higher than 11.5 points at home against Vanderbilt in your Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry.
Corey McKeithan Higher Than 19.5 Points+Rebounds+Assists
Richmond heads to Philadelphia for a game against La Salle tonight. The Richmond Spiders are 209th in the nation in points allowed this year. They’re also 255th in rebounds allowed and 92nd in assists allowed.
La Salle guard Corey McKeithan should fill up his stat sheet against a soft Richmond defense. McKeithan averages 16.9 points per game at home this year. He also averages 3.2 boards and 2.5 assists per game. McKeithan has also gone higher than 19.5 PRA in three of his last four conference home games.
Richmond gives up a ton of points and struggles to defend the perimeter. They’re also leaky enough in other aspects that McKeithan should be able to supplement his scoring with rebounds and assists. This is the side we’ll want to be on for an Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry.
Marchelus Avery Higher Than 12.5 Points
The Very Golden Knights of UCF head to Stillwater, OK for a match up with Oklahoma State. UCF allows opponents to score 79.6 points per game this year. That’s 338th in the nation. Someone is going to score points for the Cowboys, and that someone should be forward Marchelus Avery.
Avery comes into this game averaging 13.5 points per game at home this year. He’s also gone higher than 12.5 points in five of his last six conference home games, and gets a tasty match up against the Very Golden Knights. This is one of the safest plays on the board for an Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry on February 19th.
