All Pick Em Selections: 142-125-3
Perfect 3-0 Pick Em Entries: 14-76

Roddy Gayle Higher Than 1.5 Turnovers

Michigan guard Roddy Gayle makes his first trip to Columbus after playing there for two years and transferring to Ann Arbor. First, this is a road game. Second, it’s a road rivalry game. Third, it’s a road game in which the crowd will be all over Gayle every time he touches the ball.

Gayle averages 2.6 turnovers per game away from Ann Arbor this year. He’s also gone higher than 1.5 turnovers in five out of six conference road games.

Ohio State has the 29th ranked defense in the nation according to KenPom. The Buckeyes also generate 13.1 turnovers per game at home this year. That’s not a fantastically high total. It’s about middle of the pack in terms of national ranking. However, given the spot and the trend, this is one of the safest plays on the board for an Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry.

Derik Queen Higher Than 9.5 Rebounds

Iowa heads to Maryland for an afternoon game against the Terps. The Hawkeyes come into this game allowing opponents to grab 37.4 rebounds per game this year. That’s 307th in the nation. Maryland big man Derik Queen is going to put up a double-double in this one.

Queen comes into this match up averaging 8.7 rebounds per game at home this year. However, he’s gone higher than 9.5 boards in four of his last five games played. He’s also gone higher than 9.5 rebounds in three out of six conference home games.

Iowa is incredibly soft on the inside, and Queen has been one of the hottest players in the country for the past few weeks. Going higher on 17.5 points is also in play, but Iowa should struggle to shoot in an unfamiliar, hostile gym.

Lock up Derik Queen to grab more than 9.5 rebounds in your Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry for February 16th.

Nate Bittle Higher Than 19.5 Points+Rebounds+Assists

Rutgers travels all the way to Eugene, OR for a match up with the Oregon Ducks. This isn’t the same Rutgers defense as years past, and Ducks big man Nate Bittle should fill up the stat sheet.

Rutgers allows opponents to score 75.6 points per game this year. That’s 258th in the nation. The Scarlet Knights allow opponents to grab 36.4 rebounds per game. That’s 272nd in the nation. Also, they allow opponents to dish out 14.5 assists per game. That’s 276th in the nation. There will be a lot of opportunities for Bittle to add to his totals here.

Bittle averages 12.5 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game at home this year. He’s gone higher than 19.5 PRA in five of his last eight overall. Bittle has done well at home conference games this year, and cleared 19.5 PRA in five out of seven this year.

In addition to the PRA number, Bittle’s 12.5 points total is also an option, but he should have a ton of chances to rack up other counting stats. This should be an easy total to go higher on in your Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry.
