Underdog Fantasy College Basketball Picks February 14

Oumar Ballo, Underdog Fantasy college basketball, February 14

It may be Valentine’s Day, but that doesn’t mean we’re going to skip a day with Underdog Fantasy college basketball plays. Our advice is to take the plays early, turn off your phone, check back later, and count your money. This way you can spend time with your significant other, have action on today’s slate, and not spend the night checking scores. We’ve found three plays on today’s short slate that you’ll want to take, but remember to play these and turn off the phone for the evening.

Keep in mind that playing all three legs of our plays in Underdog Fantasy could win you 6X your money on a single entry. Let’s dig into tonight’s plays and remember to let it ride!

Nick Davidson Higher Than 16.5 Points

Nevada pays a visit to San Jose State tonight. Normally, we look to fade players on the road if possible, but we aren’t exactly spoiled for options here. Nick Davidson going higher than 16.5 points is one of the better plays on the board this evening.

First, Davidson has been on fire recently. He’s gone higher than 16.5 points in five of his last seven games. Davidson has also gone higher than 16.5 points in five straight conference road games. Additionally, Davidson roasted this same San Jose State team for 23 points in January.

San Jose State allows opponents to shoot 53.4% on two-point shots. That’s 264th in the nation. The Spartans also allow opponents to score 73.2 points per game. That’2 203rd in the nation.

Taking higher totals on the road isn’t a long term winning strategy, but this is a solid spot for a player that can produce on the road. Going higher on Nick Davidson’s points total tonight is one of the safest plays on the board.

Robert Vaihola Higher Than 6.5 Points

Nevada and San Jose State played once this year and Spartans big man Robert Vaihola racked up 12 points in San Jose. Vaihola also averages 7.9 points per game at home this year. He’s also gone higher than 6.5 points in three conference home games this year.

Nevada has been known to struggle with size, and can bang down low. He’s also about a 60% free throw shooter, so he could get to the line and make a shot or two.

Let’s ride with the guy who had a solid game and gets a number lower than his seasonal home average. Go higher on Vaihola’s points total in your Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry.

Oumar Ballo Higher Than 0.5 Blocks

UCLA pays a visit to Bloomington, IN for a match up with the Indiana Hoosiers. When playing on the road this year, UCLA averages 3.4 shots blocked against per game. Look for Indiana Hoosiers big man Oumar Ballo to get one block in this game.

Ballo enters this game averaging 1.8 blocks per game when playing at home this year. He’s also had at least one block in six out of six conference home games.

UCLA isn’t a great match up, but we’ve got a super short slate tonight, so let’s ride with the trend here. Lock up Ballo to get at least one block in your Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry for February 14th.
