College Basketball Picks February 10
North Carolina +4.5 @ Clemson
On Saturday, the Tigers picked up their best win of the season, defeating Duke 77-71. Despite a six-point halftime deficit, Clemson never quit, rallying in the late stages of the second half. Clemson held Duke to just five bench points and scored quite easily at the basket against one of the best defensive teams in the nation.
Coming off one of the most emotional victories of the season, I’m expecting Clemon to have a bit of a letdown in this one. UNC has been highly underwhelming in 2024-25. Despite playing at a fast tempo, the Tar Heels have yet to prove they have the offensive firepower to keep up in the kind of games they dictate.
That said, Carolina is an extremely talented team capable of beating Clemson. I’m not saying they will pull off the upset, but I’m riding with the Tar Heels in a letdown spot.
