Underdog Fantasy College Basketball Picks February 3

Keshon Gilbert, Underdog Fantasy college basketball, February 3

The college basketball season rolls into the first full week of February. We’re only six weeks away from conference tournament season, but we still have a lot of hoops left to play. There are a ton of opportunities to build Underdog Fantasy college basketball entries, even on a SWAC Monday. We don’t have a ton of games to choose from, but we’ve put together three solid plays that you’ll want to take in your entry.

Keep in mind that playing all three legs of our plays in Underdog Fantasy could win you 6X your money on a single entry. Let’s dig into tonight’s plays and remember to let it ride!

Yaxel Lendeborg Lower Than 16.5 Rebounds+Assists

UAB heads to North Texas tonight. Believe it or not, but this is good spot to fade Dragons big man Yaxel Lendeborg.

Lendeborg played North Texas twice last year, and went lower than 16.5 rebounds and assists both times. The Mean Green play at a snail’s pace, so he’s unlikely to get the benefit of extra possessions and opportunities to pad his stat line that he normally would.

Lendeborg has gone lower than 16.5 RA in 14 out of 22 games played this year. He also only averages 9.3 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game on the road.

North Texas is one of the stingiest teams in rebounds allowed and assists allowed. They allow only 9.7 assists per game and 27.8 rebounds per game to opponents. The Mean Green are in the top 10 in the nation in both categories.

It’s dangerous to fade a player like Yaxel Lendeborg’s RA total, but this is the right side for tonight’s match up. Take the lower RA total in your Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry.

Keshon Gilbert Higher Than 2.5 Turnovers

Iowa State travels to Lawrence, KS for a match up against the Jayhawks. Cyclones guard Keshon Gilbert averages 4.3 turnovers per game on the road. This is a great spot to go higher on his turnovers total in an Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry.

Gilbert has gone higher than 2.5 turnovers in four straight conference road games. The only conference road spot that Gilbert didn’t rack up at least three turnovers was at Colorado. He’s also gone higher than 2.5 turnovers in four of his last five games.

The Phog is a tough place to play, and Gilbert has shown the ability to hand the ball over. Look for him to go higher than 2.5 turnovers in your Udnerdog Fantasy college basketball entry for February 3rd.

Isaac McKneely Higher Than 13.5 Points

We have a short slate today, but a higher points total on a player with Virginia is still the right side.

The Pittsburgh Panthers allow opponents to average 70.9 points per game. That’s 131st in the nation. They also allow opponents to shoot 33.5% from beyond the arc. That’s 176th in the nation.

Isaac McKneely is one of the few consistent scorers for Virginia. He averages 13.3 points per game, and shoots 42.3% from beyond the arc. He’s also gone higher than 13.5 points in four straight, and scored 15 points in a match up against Pitt last year. Let’s ride with the hot hand and add McKneely’s points total to our Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry.
