Thomas Sorber Higher Than 14.5 Points

Butler heads to Georgetown tonight. The Bulldogs allow opponents to shoot 48,7% on 2-point shots. That’s 106th in the nation. Hoyas big man Thomas Sorber does damage on the inside, and we get him at home. Let’s go higher on Sorber’s points total.

Sorber comes into this game averaging 14.5 points per game this year. He’s gone higher than 14.5 points in eight of 19 games played.

Butler doesn’t really have anyone on the inside who can match Sorber’s combination of size and athleticism. This is a great spot for Sorber, and he should have no problem going higher on his points total. Lock him into your Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry for January 31st.

Braden Smith Higher Than 8.5 Assists

Indiana heads to Mackey Arena for a game against Purdue. The Hoosiers allow opponents to dish out 14.0 assists per game. That’s 231st in the nation. You know who’s really good at racking up assists? Purdue point guard Braden Smith!

Smith enters this game averaging 9.4 assists per game at home this year. He’s gone higher than 8.5 assists in three of his last five games at home. Smith is also coming off a 10-assist performance against Michigan.

Smith played Indiana twice last year. He went higher than 8,5 once last year.

This version of Indiana struggles to prevent opponents from helping each other, and Smith is really good at finding the open man. Let’s ride with a Smith to go higher on a beefy assists total.

Pierre Brooks II Higher Than 1.5 3-Pointers Made

One of the areas that Georgetown struggles on defense is on the perimeter. The Hoyas allow opponents to shoot 33.4% from beyond the arc. That’s 173rd in the nation.

Pierre Brooks II shoots about equally well on the road as he does at home. Brooks comes into this one averaging 1.7 made three’s per game. He’s gone higher than 1.5 made three’s in 10 out of 21 games. Brooks II went higher against Marquette and St. John’s on the road this year. He also went 4-for-6 in this same spot last year.

Butler may need to play catch up in this one, and that could come in the form of a couple made three’s from one of their key vets. Brooks has a reputation for showing up in big games, and this is an important match up on the road for a veteran Bulldogs squad. Look for Brooks II to go higher on his made three-pointers in your Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry.
