College Basketball Picks January 28
Kansas -14.5 vs. UCF
On Saturday, Kansas might have suffered the meltdown loss of the season. On two different occasions, all the Jayhawks had to do was inbound the ball and make one free throw to ice the game. They failed to do so, losing at home to Houston. That said, I really like Kansas in this bounce-back spot against a less-than-impressive UCF squad.
Kansas faced the Knights on January 5th, and the Jayhawks rolled 99-48 in Orlando. In that game, Kansas held UCF to 20.9% from the field and 23.3% from deep. Kansas also locked up Keyshawn Hall, holding him 12 points on 4/17 shooting.
Bill Self will likely have his squad ready to roll after their embarrassing home loss last time out.
