Malik Mack Higher Than 23.5 Points+Rebounds+Assists
DePaul heads to Washington, D.C. for a match up with the Georgetown Hoyas. The Blue Demons struggle on defense, especially on the road. This is a great spot for Hoyas point guard Malik Mack.
Mack comes into this one averaging 14.0 points, 4.2 assists, and 4.5 rebounds at home this season. He’s gone higher than 23.5 PRA in three of his last five games. He’s coming off back-to-back games against St. John’s and Connecticut. He should find the defense played by DePaul not nearly as tight.
The Blue Demons allow opponents to average 74.1 points per game. That’s 217th in the nation. DePaul also allows opponents to shoot 36.2% from beyond the arc. That’s 303rd in the nation. Lastly, DePaul allows opponents to dish out 14.9 assists per games this year. That’s 285th in the nation.
Mack should have a ton of chances to stuff his stat sheet against a rough DePaul defense playing on the road. Mack should have no problem going higher than 23.5 PRA in your Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry for January 16th.
Wesley Cardet Lower Than 14.5 Points+Rebounds+Assists
Providence heads to the Wells Fargo Center for a game against Villanova. We’ll look to fade Friars guard Wesley Cardet.
Cardet enters this game averaging 9.7 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 1.0 assists in games played on the road this year. He’s also gone lower than 14.5 PRA in eight out of 18 games played this year. Cardet has gone lower in three of his last four road games played.
Villanova is 63rd in the nation in points against. The Wildcats are also in the top 10 in the nation in rebounds allowed. Cardet doesn’t really look to distribute, so assists aren’t a concern here.
Providence and Villanova both play at an extremely slow pace. Cardet will see limited opportunities on offense, and the Wildcats will limit chances for rebounds. Look for Cardet to go lower than his PRA number in your Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry.
Jalen Weaver Higher Than 11.5 Points
Air Force heads to Fresno for a match up against the Bulldogs. Let’s jump on Jalen Weaver’s points total for tonight’s game.
Weaver enters this game averaging 12.4 points per game this year. He’s gone higher than 11.5 points in seven out of 15 games this year. Weaver has also gone higher than 11.5 points in three of his last five games.
Air Force allows opponents to shoot 37.2% from long range this year. That’s 327th in the nation. Weaver’s threes are in play, but his points total is the better play for this spot. Air Force gives up a lot of good looks, and Weaver should have no problem shooting from range or in close. He’ll go higher on his points total in your Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry.
