Jaden Akins Higher Than 18.5 Points+Rebounds+Assists
Penn State heads to East Lansing for a game against Michigan State. Let’s ride with Spartans guard Jaden Akins to go higher on his PRA total.
Akins enters this match up averaging 14.1 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game overall. However, when he’s in East Lansing, he averages 15.6 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game.
Akins has also gone higher than 18.5 PRA in eight out of 16 games played this year.
Penn State allows opponents to average 70.6 points per game. That’s 128th in the nation. They also allow opponents to grab 33.9 rebounds per game. That’s 138th in the nation. The Nittany Lions allow opponents to dish out 15.9 assists per game. That’s 324th per game.
Akins is really good at scoring, sneaking a few extra boards, and occasionally dishing out assists. 18.5 PRA is a little light for Akins at home, and he should have no trouble clearing this number.
Isaac McKneely Higher Than 2.5 Assists
SMU visits Charlottesville tonight for a match up with Virginia. The Mustangs allow opponents to average 15.1 assists per game this year. That’s 296th in the nation. It’s always sweaty taking Virginia overs, but this is one spot where it’s one of the safer plays on a messy board.
Cavaliers guard Isaac McKneely enters this game averaging 2.9 assists per game overall. He’s also averaging 3.0 assists per game at home. McKneely has gone higher than 2.5 assists in three of his last four games, and 11 out of 16 overall.
This is case where we have the spot, the opponent, the trend, and the player. Let’s ride with McKneely to go higher than 2.5 assists against SMU in your Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry.
R.J. Davis Higher Than 17.5 Points
Cal travels across the country to Chapel Hill tonight. The Golden Bears allow opponents to average 75.5 points per game this year. That’s 246th in the nation. Jump on R.J. Davis points right now.
Davis enters this game averaging 17.8 points per game this year. However, he’s averaging 20.0 points per game at home. Davis has also gone higher than 17.5 points in seven out of 17 games played this year. It’s going to be eight out of 18 after tonight.
Cal also allows opponents to shoot 37.3% from beyond the arc. That’s 338th in the nation. Davis is shooting 35.9% from beyond the arc for his very long college career.
This is a bit of a get right spot for Davis, and he should fly over 17.5 points. Lock him up in an Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry for January 15th.
