Miles Byrd Higher Than 1.5 3-Pointers Made
Air Force heads to Viejas Arena for a match up with San Diego State. The Falcons allow opponents to shoot 37.8% from beyond the arc. This is a great spot for Aztecs guard Miles Byrd.
Byrd comes into this game shooting 46.7% on three-pointers at home this year. He’s gone higher than 1.5 made three’s in eight out of 11 games played this season. Byrd has also made at least two three’s in five straight games.
Air Force is mediocre defensively, and they’re on the road in one of the tougher places to play on the West Coast. Look for Byrd to find a few open shots and go higher than 1.5 made three-pointers in your Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry.
Ace Baldwin Lower Than 25.5 Points+Rebounds+Assists
Ace Baldwin visits Champaign, IL for a game against the Fightin’ Illini. Baldwin only managed 24 PRA at home against Illinois last year, and he’s at 25.5 PRA tonight? Let’s go lower.
Baldwin enters this one averaging 14.8 points, 8.4 assists, and 2.9 rebounds overall, but his averages dip to 11.7 points, 6.7 assists, and 2.3 rebounds when he’s on the road. He’s also gone lower than 25.5 PRA in 10 out of 15 games this season.
Illinois allows opponents to score only 67.2 points per game. That’s 65th in the nation. The Illini allow opponents to average 10.1 assists per game. That’s 22nd in the country. They also only allow opponents to average 32.6 rebounds per game. That’s 71st in the nation.
The Illini limit their opponents’ ability to rack up counting stats, and this number is a little too high for Baldwin in a road game. Look to go lower on Baldwin’s PRA in your Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry.
Jahmyl Telfort Lower Than 25.5 Points+Rebounds+Assists
Butler travels to Providence for a match up with the Friars tonight. This is a great spot to fade Butler forward Jahmyl Telfort.
Telfort averages 15.8 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game. Providence limits opponents to 67.5 points per game this season. That’s 71st in the nation. They also only allow opponents to dish out 10.9 assists per game. That’s 41st in the nation. Telfort will score double digits, but assists will be hard to come by.
Telfort also went lower than 25.5 PRA in both games against Providence last year. In the 2024-25 season, he’s failed to go higher than 25.5 PRA in seven out of 15 games played.
This play may get a little sweaty, but this is match up that Telfort has struggled in and he’s on his second straight road game. Look to go lower on Telfort’s PRA total in your Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry for January 8th.
