NBA Predictions & Preview For Monday, January 6th

The same two teams that burned me on Friday – the Washington Wizards and the Houston Rockets – did the same to me on Sunday. Fool me once… Luckily neither team is in action tomorrow. Here are your NBA predictions and preview for Monday, January 6th.

NBA Predictions & Preview For Monday, January 6th

Portland Trail Blazers vs Detroit Pistons

Start Time – 7:00 PM EST

The Detroit Pistons are rolling, despite Jaden Ivey brutally breaking his leg in a game a few days ago. The Pistons have now won three straight games and six of their last seven. And they welcome the miserable Portland Trail Blazers to Little Caesars Arena tomorrow.

Despite stealing a win over the Bucks in Milwaukee on Saturday, Portland is still brutal on the road, posting a 4-14 away record. Detroit should be favored by nine points in this spot.

Best Bets: Detroit -6.5 (-110)

San Antonio Spurs vs Chicago Bulls

Start Time – 8:00 PM EST

Despite the nine-game slate, I had trouble finding slam dunk plays for tomorrow (so punny). However, my numbers, which have done me well this season, say to get in on the Chicago Bulls as a home dog against the San Antonio Spurs, so that’s what I’m going to do.

Chicago is about 2.5 points worse than San Antonio on a neutral court – on their home floor this game becomes pretty much a pick ’em. So I’ll roll the dice on the home Bulls.

Best Bets: Chicago +2.5 (-112)

Overall Record: 66-50 (57%)
Profit (based on $100/bet): $1032.00
Return on Investment: 9%
