It’s the final Thursday Night Football game of the year. The Seattle Seahawks head to the Windy City to take on the Chicago Bears. The teams will meet at Solider Field in Chicago, Illinois for an 8:15 p.m. WT kickoff on Amazon Prime Video on December 26th. Let’s take a look at this Seahawks-Bears preview and predictions.
There’s a lot on the line for the Seattle Seahawks going into Week 17. They are currently “on the bubble” and a game behind the Los Angeles Rams in the NFC West. The Seahawks no longer control their own destiny after a loss to Minnesota last week. They’ll need to take care of business Thursday night to keep themselves in the hunt.
For Chicago, it’s been more of the same. They suffered their ninth loss in a row last week at home against the Detroit Lions in what can only be described as a blowout. For the third straight week against tough NFC opponents, the Bears looked overmatched and underwhelming. This team certainly looks forward to being done with the 2024 season.

Seattle Seahawks at Chicago Bears Preview and Predictions
Keenan Allen Over 59.5 (-113)
Yes, Chicago has lost nine straight games and the latter part of their season has been poor. However, since the departure of Shane Waldron from their offense, Keenan Allen has thrived under Thomas Brown. Allen has crossed this number in four of the Bears’ last five games including a 141-yard receiving performance last week against the Lions.
Seattle also gave up a big day to the top receiver last week when Justin Jefferson torched them for 144 yards through the air. Devante Adams, Tre McBride, and Juwan Jennings all also cleared this number against Seattle recently.
Seattle Seahawks -3.5 (-110)
Chicago is on a nine-game losing streak straight up. They’ve not covered the spread in their last three games and are 2-6-1 over that nine-game stretch. Their coach has been fired, and they are long-eliminated from the playoffs and have little to play for at this point.
Seattle is fighting for their lives. It’s almost do or die at this point. They’ve lost their last two in tough games against strong Green Bay and Minnesota teams. They were blown out by Green Bay but bounced back to keep it close against Minnesota. Now they get a Bears team that just isn’t good when they need a win most. Seattle rolls on Thursday night.
