The Houston Texans are coming off their bye week looking to clinch the AFC South with some help. If the Texans win this week and the Colts lose, the Texans clinch the division. But the Texans face a tough opponent this week in the Miami Dolphins whose offense is firing on all cylinders. Below are the Dolphins at Texans Preview and Predictions.
The Texans did get good news this week on the injury front. Both linebacker Christian Harris and offensive tackle Kenyon Green were activated off the injury reserved. With the suspension of Azeez Al-Shaair and the season-ending injury to Jalen Pitre, the Texans can definitely use the services of Harris. However, both players remain questionable for the game. Additionally, Texans center Juice Scruggs is out for this game with a knee injury.
Meanwhile, the Dolphins could be without two offensive linemen in this game, Terron Armstead and Kendall Lamm. The Dolphins also have several players that are questionable for the game including Tyreek Hill but all expectations are he will play in the game.
Dolphins at Texans Preview and Predictions
Best Bets
As I mentioned above, the Texans are coming off their bye week and are well-rested coming into this game against the Dolphins. Additionally, the Texans do get some key players back on the defensive side. The Dolphins this season on the road are 3-3 ATS and 2-4 SU. We know the story of Tua against the teams above .500 does not possess a good record.
In fact, since the 2018 season, the Dolphins against teams with a .500 or better record on the road are 6-18 SU and 10-13-1 ATS. The key for the Texans in this game will be limiting the explosive plays by the Dolphins offense. Additionally, if the Texans’ pass rush can get to Tua in this game, this should be a victory for the Texans.
Best Bet: Texans -2.5

Nico Collins Longest Reception Over 29.5 Yards
There is no question that Nico Collins is the clear-cut #1 for the Texans wide receiving group. Collins has done the most with his opportunities this season and has been a huge down-the-field threat. In fact, Collins has recorded a 30+ reception in six of the eight games that Collins has played in. I am expecting a high-scoring affair in this matchup with explosive plays down the field.
