Honestly, who would have thought Denver would be in a prime position to make the playoffs at the beginning of the year? The team was considered to be in “cap hell” and was starting a rookie quarterback. To be honest, I was not a Bo Nix fan coming into the NFL Draft. College football fans saw him A LOT on Saturdays. Although he improved throughout his college career, I never thought we’d see this from him in the NFL.
In retrospect, it makes sense why he’s producing at such a high level. He’s executing Sean Payton’s offense, something Russell Wilson struggled immensely with. In this game, Denver will face the Browns, who are coming off their best game of the season, defeating the Steelers in a snowy affair.
I’m chalking the Browns-Steelers game up to the conditions and it being a division game. NFC North games are often unpredictable, with twists and turns throughout. Denver is clearly the better squad here, and they are trending upward for a potential playoff push!
