Tennessee Titans at Houston Texans Preview and Predictions

Tennessee Titans at Houston Texans Preview and PredictionsA battle of AFC South teams takes place in Houston between the Titans and the Texans. Texans coming off a Monday Night Football victory against the woeful Dallas Cowboys. The Texans look to continue stacking wins to get the crown in the AFC South. Will Levis gets the start again for the Titans. Will this be a letdown spot for the Texans or will they dominate against the Titans? Below are my Titans at Texans Preview and Predictions.

As I mentioned above, Levis will get the start for the Titans. The Texans look to continue to dominate on the ground behind Joe Mixon who has been a workhorse for this running game. The strength of the Titans has been their pass defense but they do a big task this week against Stroud, Collins, and Dell.

It’s been a subpar season for the Titans to say the least with the quarterback carousel for this team. Additionally, the Titans will be without Tyjae Spears in this game who is dealing with a concussion. Typically, we do see players miss a minimum of one game while dealing with a concussion.

Titans at Texans Preview and Predictions

Best Bets

Plenty of fans and sports media have been skeptical of C.J. Stroud this season after having a phenomenal rookie campaign. But have the Texans really needed Stroud to play at an elite level? No. As I mentioned above, Joe Mixon has been doing very well in the rushing game for the Texans. Since last season, the Titans on the road are 2-11 SU and 3-10 ATS. This season, the Titans on the road are 1-4 SU and 1-4 ATS allowing 29.8 points per game.

Meanwhile, the Texans under DeMeco Ryans are in division home games are 7-2 SU BUT 4-5 ATS. This is a great teaser leg for the Texans to bring down the -7.5 spread down to -1.5. I expect Joe Mixon to continue finding success and the Texans to score points at home.

Best Bet: 2-Team 6-point Teaser: Texans +1.5 and Lions -1.5. Texans TT Over 21

Nico Collins Longest Reception Over 25.5 Yards

I am going to keep this one simple. Nico Collins has been Stroud’s #1 target since he became the starting quarterback for the Texans. In every game that Collins has played this season, Collins has a long reception of at least 26 or more yards. Despite the Titans having a great pass defense I am asking Stroud and Collins to do what they have been doing all season and that is one long catch down the field!
