The Buffalo Bulls are a few slots ahead of the Eastern Michigan Eagles in the Mid-American Conference standings (the Bulls are tied for fourth, and the Eagles are tied for eighth), but these teams are fairly evenly matched. Considering the 2.5 points that home-field advantage is worth for the Eagles, I have this game set at Buffalo -1.5. So there isn’t enough wiggle room for me to make a play on the spread.
Instead, for my best bet I’m taking the over on the game total. You can get it for 50.5 if you look around. Buffalo games this season average 57.8 points, and they’ve been over 50.5 in four straight games. Eastern Michigan games go to 54.5 points on average, and they’ve topped 50.5 points in four of their last six games.
