The good news is that we didn’t do another reverse sweep on Sunday. USC’s leaky defense allowed Jevon Blacksher to fly over his points total in the first half. The bad news is that Jayden Nunn was the Baylor guard that didn’t clear his points total, and Augustas Marciulionis played his worst game of the season against Nebraska. We’ve got another slate for Monday, and three plays that will help us get back on track. Let’s dig in to our card for Underdog Fantasy college basketball on November 18.
Keep in mind that playing all three legs of our plays in Underdog Fantasy could win you 6X your money on a single entry.

Khalif Battle Higher Than 1.5 Turnovers
Gonzaga heads to Viejas Arena in San Diego to face the Aztecs on Monday night. San Diego State may have retooled a bit, but the system and philosophy is still the same. Defense sets the for the Aztecs, and expect some of the newer Bulldogs to struggle initially.
Khalif Battle has gone higher than 1.5 turnovers in two out of three games this year. He’s gone higher against Baylor and Arizona State. He’s only gone lower in a game against UMass-Lowell. Battle played fewer than 30 minutes against UMass-Lowell, and it was clear that the Warhawks couldn’t match the level of talent on Gonzaga.
Battle has shown that he turns the ball over when facing top level competition. This is also the Bulldogs’ first game on a truly hostile floor. Given the location and the time of year, this is a great spot for Battle to go higher than 1.5 turnovers. Get him into your Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry for November 18.
Ethan Price Higher Than 10.5 Points
Washington State gets Northern Colorado on Monday night. The Bears have played four games so far. They’ve played two against D1 teams, and the other two against D2 and D3 schools. In the two games against D1 talent, the Bears really struggled against opposing bigs.
Ethan Price is averaging 12.3 points through his first four games this year. He’s cleared 11.5 points in three out of four games this year. His only miss came in a recent match up against Iowa. However, Price faced Northern Colorado twice last year when he was with Eastern Washington. He cleared 10.5 points in both games.
Given the recent struggles by Northern Colorado, and the history, this play looks solid. Price should eat against a soft Bears interior, and you’ll want to have him in your Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry for November 18th.
Tamin Lipsey Lower Than 8.5 Rebounds + Assists
If we were in February and Iowa State point guard Tamin Lipsey was playing a conference game with a total of 8.5 rebounds and assists, we’d definitely go higher. However, it’s November, and Iowa State is playing a Horizon League team in Ames, IA.
Lipsey has played two games this year against UMKC and Mississippi Valley State. He’s played fewer than 30 minutes in each game, and he’s been far lower than 8.5 rebounds and assists. This line is based on what Lipsey did last year, and not how he’s played against some of the weaker teams in the Cyclones’ non-conference slate. This is Iowa State’s final tune up before Maui, and there’s no reason for the Cyclones to play their full workload. They’ll want to come out of this one with everyone healthy and sharp.
Lipsey won’t need to play more than 28 minutes against IU Indy, and he’s unlikely to go higher than 8.5 rebounds and assists. Locking in a lower for Lipsey on counting stats may feel counter-intuitive, but it’s the right play here.
