Underdog Fantasy College Basketball Picks November 17

Augustas Marciulionis, Underdog Fantasy college basketball November 17

Some days you want to remember forever, and other days you want to burn the tape. Yesterday was a burn the tape day. We got hooked on both three-pointers made plays, and Dawson Garcia played 37 minutes and only managed six boards. Our first reverse sweep of the season. The correct move is to put it in the rear view, move on to the Sunday card, and build an Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry for November 17.

Keep in mind that playing all three legs of our plays in Underdog Fantasy could win you 6X your money on a single entry.

Jovan Blacksher Higher Than 11.5 Points

Cal heads to USC on Sunday night, and we should see points scored here. USC just beat UT-Arlington 98-95 in a game that saw the Trojans put minimal effort into playing on the defensive end. Mavericks guard Jaden Wells toasted USC for 27 points while the Trojans defense watched.

Cal guard Jovan Blacksher is averaging 15.3 points per game this year, and he’s cleared 11.5 points in two of his first three games this year. If the USC defensive effort is anywhere near as bad as it was against UT-Arlington, Blacksher should clear this with ease. Blacksher higher on his 2.5 made three-pointers total is also in play if you want to get a little spicy.

Jayden Nunn Higher Than 13.5 Points

The points total for Jayden Nunn, VJ Edgecombe, and Jeremy Roach are all set at 13.5. Tarleton State has been awful defending opposing guards. This is the books completely unsure of who on Baylor will make the Texans pay for it.

Of the trio, Jayden Nunn is the best option. Nunn shoots well from beyond the arc, and Tarleton State has allowed opponents to shoot 39.7% from three-point land. The game script here is that Nunn knocks in a few threes early, and cruises over before we get into garbage time.

After three games, Nunn is averaging 13.7 points, and he’s gone higher than 13.5 points in each of his last two games.

Nunn is the safest angle against a porous Tarleton State defense, and he’s the option you’ll want in an Underdog Fantasy lineup for November 17th.

Augustas Marciulionis Higher Than 10.5 Rebounds+Assists

The Nebraska Cornhuskers have played UT-Rio Grande Valley, Bethune-Cookman, and Farleigh Dickinson in their first three games. It’s hard to handicap a team that has played a schedule that soft.

However, the one recurring theme is that opposing guards have filled up the stat sheets in each match up. The St. Mary’s Gaels have a guard on their roster that fills up the box score more than just about anyone.

Augustas Marciulionis is averaging 3.3 rebounds and 8.7 assists per game. He’s gone higher than 10.5 rebounds and assists in two of his first three games, and he’s coming off a 14 rebounds and assists against Akron.

Marciulionis has played 36 minutes or more in each of his first three games, and the Gaels haven’t played since Tuesday. He should get his normal workload, and rack up the rebounds and assists against the Cornhuskers. Get Marciulionis in your Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry for November 17th.
